Well, I have been a hard-core C++ guy all my life developing enterprise and telecom apps, and one fine day I came across Ruby on Rails. It was like moving from assembly programming to C++ in a single step! (of course, C++ has its own goodies which are unmatched)
Anyways, since then I'm hooked on to ROR and decided to use Ruby and its expressiveness for my blog's name :)
